Service Description

When knitters invest the time and money into making a sweater, they want a finished project that fits and flatters. This workshop discusses the steps and techniques to help ensure that a knitted sweater will fit its recipient. We’ll talk about the pros and cons of different types of sweater constructions, sweater measurements versus body measurements, yarn choices, reading schematics, and pattern modifications, among other topics. Participants are encouraged to bring in sweater projects or patterns that they are working on and to ask questions about tailoring their projects to achieve a better fit.
