Service Description

This workshop teaches knitters how to use helical knitting to create jogless stripes while making fingerless mitts. Helical knitting is a method for working in the round that can be used for hats, sweaters, mitts, socks, etc. It relies on the spiraling shape of the knitted rounds to layer colors on top of each other with no jogs or skips. Knitters may choose up to five colors to use in their fingerless mitts, which have instructions for two sizes. The workshop will explain the method of helical knitting and offer tips for staying organized and exploring color combinations.
